Fairy Meadows Trek

Gilgit Baltistan, Pakistan•8-10 Days•May - September
Expedition Synopsis

Overview & Mountain Character

“A world-renowned Himalayan trek leading through dense pine woodlands to Fairy Meadows and the base of Nanga Parbat's towering western precipice.”

Set within the western boundary of the Himalayas in Gilgit-Baltistan, this trek brings hikers into close proximity with the sheer Raikot Face of Nanga Parbat (8,126m). The journey kicks off with an iconic 4x4 mountain track to Tatu village, opening onto a wooded footpath ascending toward Fairy Meadows at roughly 3,300m. Extending to Beyal Camp and Nanga Parbat Base Camp, this journey unites alpine forests, glacial moraines, and high Himalayan views into an accessible, non-technical mountain itinerary.
