Charkusa Valley Trek
Overview & Mountain Character
“A secluded journey into a wild Karakoram amphitheater flanked by massive granite faces, delivering front-row sights of K6 and K7.”
Venturing out from the upper settlement of Hushe, the Charakusa Valley Trek follows mountain paths past summer shelters and pastures directly into the lateral moraines of the Charakusa Glacier. Guarded by the monumental walls of K6 (7,281m) and K7 (6,934m), this glaciated sanctuary attracts alpine climbers and adventurous trekkers seeking granite walls, expansive icefields, and untouched wilderness intertwined with local Balti heritage.
